The SIMSCAN-E is a compact, wireless 3D scanner offering high-speed, accurate scanning for various industrial applications.
The SIMSCAN-E is a wireless, palm-sized 3D scanner designed for high-precision scanning in various industrial environments. Weighing only 600 grams and measuring 203 × 80 × 44 mm, it offers unparalleled portability and ease of use for one-handed operation.
The SIMSCAN-E’s compact size and lightweight design make it ideal for scanning in tight or hard-to-reach spaces. Its wireless capabilities, powered by Wi-Fi 6, eliminate the need for cumbersome cables, allowing for greater flexibility during scanning operations.
Equipped with 81 blue laser lines and a frame rate of 180 FPS, the SIMSCAN-E captures up to 6.3 million measurements per second. It offers three scanning modes:
Ultra-fast scanning: 63 blue laser lines for rapid data acquisition.
Hyperfine scanning: 17 parallel blue laser lines for capturing intricate details.
Deep hole scanning: 1 blue laser line for measuring deep holes and hard-to-reach areas.
These modes provide versatility to handle various scanning tasks efficiently.
The SIMSCAN-E utilizes advanced industrial cameras and image enhancement algorithms to capture every intricate feature with high precision. Its measurement accuracy reaches up to 0.020 mm, meeting the demands of industrial-grade high-precision 3D scanning and measurement.
The SIMSCAN-E is suitable for a wide range of applications, including:
Aerospace: Quality control and dimensional inspection of critical flight components.
Automotive: Reverse engineering, rapid prototyping, and design validation.
Defense: Non-destructive inspection and field-ready 3D scanning for maintenance, repair, and upgrade of tactical equipment and vehicles.
Energy, Process & Utilities: Reverse engineering of redundant or legacy oil & gas parts, pipeline inspection, and equipment wear analysis in confined or hard-to-access environments.
Heritage Preservation: Digitization of artifacts and cultural heritage items for conservation and digital archiving.
The scanner features a dual-power design with large-capacity batteries, allowing for seamless battery swaps without interrupting the scanning process. Its detachable charging base enables easy switching between wireless and wired modes, adapting to different scenarios and needs.
