[Dubai, UAE] - For Immediate Release

Validated by the world's leading aerospace organizations, these newly qualified specified polymers allow regional defense and aviation sectors to confidently 3D print controlled, chemical-resistant parts.

DUBAI, UAE – 27.03.2025– The Design to Manufacturing Co. (theD2Mco), the region’s premier Platinum Stratasys Partner, today announced the regional availability of AIS™ Antero® 800NA and AIS™ Antero 840CN03. These advanced industrial solution (AIS) materials are now fully validated for the Stratasys F900®, marking a historic milestone in qualified additive manufacturing for highly regulated industries in the Middle East.

These materials were rigorously developed and qualified in direct collaboration with some of the most demanding aerospace and defense organizations in the world, including Boeing, Northrop Grumman, Blue Origin, the U.S. Air Force, and U.S. Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR).

Eliminating the Qualification Bottleneck

For aerospace and defense contractors in the UAE and Saudi Arabia, localizing the production of flight-ready parts is a major strategic goal, but the cost and time required to internally qualify new materials often stall adoption. By leveraging NCAMP (National Center for Advanced Materials Performance) equivalence, these new Stratasys materials deliver a clear, scalable pathway to process and material qualification.

"The biggest hurdle to additive manufacturing in the defense sector has always been the certification red tape," said Alex Papantoniou, Director KSA at theD2Mco. "By bringing these Antero materials to the GCC, we are handing regional aerospace manufacturers a material that is already validated by the U.S. military and tier-one aviation giants. This drastically reduces the time and expense of internal testing, allowing our clients to confidently deploy 3D printed parts for controlled applications."

High-Temperature, controlled Performance

Designed specifically for the extreme demands of specified polymer applications, AIS Antero 800NA and 840CN03 offer unparalleled design flexibility alongside specified resistance to extreme temperatures and harsh aviation chemicals.

By integrating these materials into their existing Stratasys F900 fleets, regional manufacturers benefit from:

  • Proven Reliability:Validated, NCAMP-backed data ensuring consistent performance across distributed production sites.
  • Streamlined Qualification:Access to structured documentation, training, and tools to implement documented process controls.
  • Cost Reduction:Massive savings on the internal testing and qualification expenses typically required for application-specific manufacturing.

Availability

The AIS™ Antero® 800NA and AIS™ Antero 840CN03 materials for the Stratasys F900® are available immediately to defense and aerospace operators across the region through The Design to Manufacturing Co. Our technical and documentation review teams are available to consult on facility integration, process control, and part qualification frameworks.
