DUBAI, UAE - 23.07.2025 - The Design to Manufacturing Co. (theD2Mco), the region's premier Platinum Stratasys Partner, today announced the regional availability of GrabCAD Print Pro(TM) 2025. This major software update changes how additive manufacturing operates on the factory floor by reducing the time, complexity, and labor cost associated with localized production.

While industrial manufacturers in the Gulf are increasingly using additive manufacturing to support In-Country Value (ICV) goals, many still face bottlenecks caused by fragmented software workflows and limited CAD engineering capacity.

Solving the Engineering Skills Gap

The centerpiece of the 2025 release is the full integration of fixturemate(TM), a design automation application that shifts fixture design work downstream from specialized design engineers to the AM operators running the machines.

  • Direct 3D Textures: Apply 3D textures directly within the software to improve the grip and fit of ergonomic factory tools while avoiding file-size issues common in traditional CAD workflows.
  • Smart Material Usage: Use insert and void body tools to improve part functionality while reducing support material waste and post-processing time.
  • Parallel Processing: Run multiple print-preparation sessions at the same time to scale setups across large print jobs and increase overnight or weekend machine utilization.
