Stratasys Introduces PolyJet J850 Core, Additive App Suite, and New Materials
[Dubai, UAE] - For Immediate Release
Stratasys has introduced the PolyJet™ J850™ Core, new GrabCAD software capabilities, P3™ MED Silicone 25A, and SAF™ PA12 - Powered by Evonik as part of a broader platform update for industrial and medical additive manufacturing.
DUBAI, UAE - 09.04.2026 - The Design to Manufacturing Co. (D2M) today highlighted Stratasys’ new PolyJet, software, silicone, and SAF material announcements for Middle East manufacturers, product-development teams, and healthcare manufacturing groups evaluating additive manufacturing beyond concept models.
According to the source announcement, Stratasys introduced application-driven software capabilities, materials, and platform enhancements intended to help organizations move more parts and tools from traditional methods into additive workflows. The announcement includes the J850™ Core, an Additive App Suite for GrabCAD workflows, P3™ MED Silicone 25A, and SAF™ PA12 - Powered by Evonik.
PolyJet J850 Core for Engineering Teams
The J850™ Core expands the Stratasys PolyJet lineup with a lower-cost system aimed at engineering teams focused on functional prototyping. Stratasys says the system gives customers access to PolyJet performance and materials without paying for full-color capabilities.
The source positions J850 Core for enclosures, housings, jigs, fixtures, and other functional components. It supports rigid, flexible, transparent, and PolyJet ToughONE™ materials, along with a large build tray and high-speed print modes. Stratasys says the system was planned to open for booking by the end of April.
P3 MED Silicone 25A
Stratasys and Shin-Etsu are introducing P3™ MED Silicone 25A for Origin® printers. The source describes it as the first biocompatible true silicone for 3D printing patient-specific medical devices and low-volume production parts, certified to ISO 10993 standards.
The supplier states that the material offers silicone properties including elasticity, durability, and resistance to heat, chemicals, and aging. Listed application examples include hearing aids, CPAP masks, orthotics, and prosthetics. These source claims do not imply UAE, Saudi, or GCC clinical approval, patient-contact clearance, or automatic suitability for any specific medical device without the required customer, regulatory, and validation review.
GrabCAD Additive App Suite
The announcement also describes a new Additive App Suite developed with trinckle. Stratasys says the suite is expected to launch later in the summer with 10 apps and expand to 15 apps by Formnext 2026. Automated design apps named in the source include Clamping Jaws, Shadow Boards, and Drill Guides, embedded into GrabCAD Print™ and GrabCAD Print Pro™.
For GCC manufacturing and operations teams, this software direction is relevant because it may reduce design bottlenecks for production tooling and help move additive workflows from specialist AM teams into engineering, quality, and operations functions.
SAF PA12 - Powered by Evonik
Stratasys also announced SAF™ PA12 - Powered by Evonik. According to the source, the material offers up to 14% lower total cost of ownership compared with current SAF PA12 materials, without requiring additional licenses, hardware, or process changes.
The supplier positions SAF PA12 for cost-efficient industrial production with strong, resilient, dimensionally accurate parts and consistent build quality. The reported TCO comparison is bounded to the source context and should not be generalized to every production program or part family.
D2M View for Regional Buyers
For organizations in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and the wider GCC, the significance is not a single product update. It is the expansion of practical additive manufacturing routes across visual and functional prototyping, tooling, automated design, silicone applications, and powder-bed production.
D2M helps clients assess where Stratasys PolyJet, Origin P3, SAF, and GrabCAD-enabled workflows may fit, what material and process evidence is required, and how to introduce these capabilities without overstating approval status, production readiness, or clinical suitability beyond the source-supported use case.
