[Dubai, UAE] - For Immediate Release

Combining functional strength with high-fidelity visual accuracy, this new durable material allows regional engineers to accelerate product development and produce impact-resistant manufacturing aids.

DUBAI, UAE – 02.04.2025– The Design to Manufacturing Co. (theD2Mco), the region’s premier Platinum Stratasys Partner, today announced the regional availability of PolyJet ToughONE™ White. This advanced material brings a new level of durability to the Stratasys PolyJet ecosystem, enabling functional prototyping and selected end-use parts without sacrificing the technology's signature smooth surfaces and multi-material versatility.

For industrial designers and engineers in the UAE and Saudi Arabia, choosing a 3D printing technology often meant a compromise: select FDM for mechanical strength, or PolyJet for visual realism and smooth textures. With the introduction of ToughONE, that compromise is eliminated.

"Regional manufacturers are constantly balancing speed, cost, and performance, and every unnecessary design iteration adds delays," said Lorcan Nolan, Chief Marketing Officer at theD2Mco. "With ToughONE, we are giving local engineering teams a material that lets them move from a visually suitable concept directly into harsh functional testing. It is drillable, millable, and tough enough for the factory floor."

Functional Tooling and Hybrid Capabilities

The enhanced impact resistance and flexibility of PolyJet ToughONE make it an ideal choice for producing functional prototypes across the automotive, consumer goods, and industrial sectors. Regionally, it serves as a suitable solution for creating accurate manufacturing aids, custom housings, brackets, and robotic end-effectors. Furthermore, the material easily produces complex geometries - including thin walls, snap fits, and living hinges - while maintaining specified dimensional accuracy.

Because it integrates defined with existing PolyJet platforms, operators can also create hybrid models. This means a single printed part can combine the rugged mechanical properties of ToughONE with other flexible materials or vibrant, full-color labeling.

Availability

PolyJet ToughONE™ material is available immediately to Stratasys PolyJet users across the GCC through The Design to Manufacturing Co. Our technical team is ready to assist regional clients in upgrading their material portfolios to integrate these new functional capabilities.
