[Frankfurt, Germany] - For Immediate Release

A new standard for micro metal 3D printing is coming to the Middle East, offering unprecedented precision for the production of miniature medical devices, antennas, and micromechanics.

FRANKFURT, GERMANY – 17.11.2025– Following XACT Metal's recent global debut at the Formnext 2025 exhibition in Germany, The Design to Manufacturing Co. (theD2Mco) is thrilled to highlight the upcoming regional availability of the XM200G µHD metal 3D printer.

Currently in the final stages of development and expected to begin shipping in mid-2026, the XM200G µHD is engineered specifically to achieve micro sizes and ultra-smooth surfaces. These specified precision capabilities have generally not been suitable for use in standard metal laser powder-bed fusion (LPBF) printers.

Ultra-High Definition for Critical Sectors

Many regional manufacturers in the defense and healthcare sectors require extreme printing performance for intricate, low-volume applications. To meet this demand, XACT Metal has developed the capability for the XM200G µHD to print with ultra-fine 5-15 µm size metal powder - a material class traditionally restricted to the metal injection molding (MIM) industry.

"XACT Metal's announcement at Formnext is a massive leap forward for precision manufacturing," said Lorcan Nolan, Chief Marketing Officer at theD2Mco. "By combining an ultra-fine 25 µm laser spot size with this specialized micro-powder, this system will enable our clients to print features that are virtually microscopic. We are incredibly excited to deploy this technology locally to open up entirely new production possibilities for highly complex electronics, waveguides, and intricate medical devices."

Based on the proven architecture of the XM200G family, the new µHD system will feature a 140x140x150 mm build area and will be available with 100W, 200W, or 400W laser power configurations.

Availability

The XACT Metal XM200G µHD is currently in its final development stages and is scheduled to begin shipping in mid-2026. As the region’s premier authorized representative, The Design to Manufacturing Co. is currently considering early consultations for facility integration.
