A flexible, tear-resistant PolyJet material that simulates rubber for durable prototypes, seals, and grips requiring repeated bending.

Elastico™ is an advanced PolyJet™ photopolymer that accurately simulates rubber-like products. It enables the production of flexible, high-resolution parts with a smooth surface finish. The material's key differentiator is its superior durability and tear resistance compared to other flexible materials, allowing prototypes and components to stand up to repeated flexing, stretching, and compression without failure.
With a Shore A hardness of 45-50, Elastico™ provides a soft, tactile feel ideal for ergonomic features like grips and soft-touch overmolds. Its high elongation at break (360-400%) allows parts to stretch significantly without breaking, making it suitable for applications requiring defined flexibility. This resilience ensures that components like living hinges and seals maintain their integrity and performance under continuous mechanical stress.
Elastico™ is compatible with Stratasys PolyJet™ systems, enabling fine detail resolution down to 18 microns. It is used with SUP710™, a water-jet removable support material that allows for the creation of complex geometries and internal cavities without laborious manual post-processing. This streamlined process ensures that even the most intricate designs are produced with clean, accurate results.
This material is ideal for advanced design verification and rapid prototyping where realistic feel and function are critical. Elastico™ support designers and engineers to create high-fidelity, tear-resistant prototypes for functional testing. It is also suitable for low-volume production of end-use parts such as jigs, fixtures, seals, and custom wearables.
