A rigid, electrostatic dissipative (ESD) material for producing strong, dimensionally stable functional parts with an excellent surface finish.

LOCTITE® 3D IND3380™ ESD is a specified photopolymer resin engineered to produce rigid, detailed parts with reliable electrostatic dissipative properties. Developed for vat photopolymerization technologies like DLP and LCD, this material combines mechanical strength, thermal resistance, and ESD safety. Its key differentiator is the ability to create dimensionally accurate, high-stiffness components with a smooth surface finish, suitable for demanding industrial and electronics applications.
This material is specifically formulated to protect sensitive electronic components from electrostatic discharge. Parts printed with IND3380™ ESD exhibit a surface resistivity in the ideal dissipative range (10⁴ – 10¹¹ Ω), ensuring static charges are safely dissipated to ground, preventing damage to electronics during handling, assembly, and testing.
With a high Young's Modulus of up to 3000 MPa and excellent flexural strength, IND3380™ ESD produces stiff, defined parts capable of withstanding mechanical stress. Its high Heat Deflection Temperature (HDT) of 190°C allows for use in elevated temperature environments, making it a reliable choice for tooling, fixtures, and enclosures that require consistent performance under thermal load.
IND3380™ ESD is compatible with a broad range of industrial DLP and LCD 3D printers. Achieving final material properties requires a validated two-step post-processing workflow: first, cleaning with IPA, followed by a UV post-cure and a subsequent thermal post-cure (heat treatment). This process is critical for ensuring optimal mechanical, thermal, and ESD performance. For best results, parts should be oriented to minimize cross-sectional area and printed with supports to ensure the desired ESD performance on critical surfaces.
From functional prototypes to series production, LOCTITE® 3D IND3380™ ESD is a versatile solution. It is ideal for producing custom jigs, fixtures, and assembly aids for electronics manufacturing, as well as durable end-use parts such as connector housings, electronic enclosures, and static-safe handling tools.
