Wireless, compact 3D scanning system delivering high-precision measurement for small-to-medium parts with total freedom of movement.

NimbleTrack is a fully wireless, high-accuracy 3D scanning system designed for fast, flexible measurement of small-to-medium components. With onboard computing, built-in batteries and an ultra-light form factor, it delivers specified freedom of movement without sacrificing metrology-grade performance. From inspection and reverse engineering to on-site verification and engineering analysis, NimbleTrack provides detailed, reliable 3D data wherever it’s needed.
NimbleTrack combines a portable handheld scanner with a lightweight optical tracker to create a scanning system that operates without external power or cables. Its wireless design reduces setup time and allows operators to work around parts freely, making it ideal for production floors, field environments or any situation where mobility is essential.
Equipped with an integrated edge computing module, the scanner processes data at high frame rates to deliver smooth, fast capture. This eliminates lag and ensures that fine surface details, edges and complex geometries are recorded accurately. Target-free scanning further accelerates workflow by removing the need for surface preparation.
Weighing only a fraction of traditional scanners, NimbleTrack is engineered for long scanning sessions without operator fatigue. The compact tracker and protective case make transportation simple, allowing the system to be deployed quickly wherever measurement is required. Its minimal footprint is particularly advantageous in tight or cluttered environments.
The system’s carbon-fiber frame provides stiffness, thermal stability and long-term structural integrity. Once calibrated, the scanner maintains consistent performance across extended use, ensuring reliable accuracy even during demanding projects.
NimbleTrack offers scanner-only accuracy in the 0.020 mm range and system accuracy as fine as 0.025 mm. Multiple modes, including ultra-fast scanning, hyperfine scanning and deep-hole capture, allow users to adapt the system to different part sizes, surface conditions and measurement tasks.
Optional edge detection assists in the measurement of holes, slots and closed boundaries. Compatibility with additional accessories such as the i-Probe provides access to radiused edges and hidden points. Multi-tracker setups can also be used to extend the working area while maintaining consistent volumetric accuracy.
Whether used for dimensional inspection, part-to-CAD comparison, mold verification, jig and fixture analysis or heritage digitisation, NimbleTrack delivers clean, accurate 3D data that integrates defined into established engineering and quality workflows. Its wireless architecture and portable design make it a natural fit for automotive, aerospace, energy, manufacturing, research and conservation applications.
