Wireless, high-precision 3D scanning for fast, detailed measurement anywhere.

NimbleTrack Gen2 is an intelligent wireless 3D scanning system engineered for fast, accurate and portable measurement. Designed to overcome the limitations of traditional scanning setups, it delivers metrology-grade accuracy, long-range optical tracking and ultra-fast data capture without cables, markers or external power. From inspection and engineering to field digitisation and large-part measurement, NimbleTrack Gen2 offers documented freedom, scalability and performance in a compact, highly mobile platform.
Both the scanner and tracker operate on integrated specified batteries, enabling fully wireless scanning in any environment. This removes cable restrictions and makes the system ideal for power-limited sites, outdoor locations, shop-floor areas, and projects requiring full operator mobility. The compact form factor and quick deployment allow engineers to scan parts wherever needed, without disruption.
With upgraded optical tracking, NimbleTrack Gen2 supports extended scanning distances suitable for both small components and large, complex assemblies. Its carbon-fiber frame construction provides excellent rigidity and thermal stability, maintaining long-term accuracy during continuous use. Adaptive photogrammetry algorithms ensure that volumetric accuracy remains consistent across short, medium and long measurement ranges.
NimbleTrack Gen2 achieves system accuracy in the 0.025 mm range, making it suitable for demanding industrial applications. Multiple scanning modes - including ultra-fast scanning, hyperfine scanning and deep-hole capture - allow the system to handle a wide range of surface types, materials and geometries. Operators can quickly switch between high-detail tasks and large-area coverage as project requirements change.
The system features dual-mode scanning, enabling optical 3D scanning in combination with handheld wide-area capture. The tracker can function as an auxiliary handheld scanner for capturing larger parts or for working in tight or obstructed areas. This adaptability ensures efficient workflows whether measuring small precision components or broad surfaces across larger structures.
NimbleTrack Gen2 supports advanced capabilities for professional metrology and engineering environments. Optional edge detection improves the accuracy of hole, slot and boundary measurement. Compatibility with accessories such as the i-Probe enables scanning of hidden points or intricate features that are inaccessible to standard line-of-sight scanning. Multi-tracker setups also allow the working volume to be expanded substantially while maintaining accuracy.
The system integrates defined with workflows for dimensional inspection, part-to-CAD comparison, tooling evaluation, prototype analysis and reverse engineering. Its stability, portability and high-resolution capture make it suitable for automotive, aerospace, energy, manufacturing, cultural heritage, R&D institutions and other environments where mobility and precision are equally important.
