Scanology TrackProbe

Metrology-grade optical 3D probing for large-scale, high-precision industrial measurement.
Engineering fit
TrackProbe is a portable, high-accuracy 3D probing system designed for precise measurement of small components or large industrial assemblies. With long-range tracking, deep-reach probing and flexible wired or wireless operation, it delivers reliable dimensional inspection, reverse engineering and QA performance on the shop floor or in the field.
TrackProbe - High-Precision 3D Probing for Real-World Manufacturing
TrackProbe combines a handheld optical probe with an advanced tracking unit to create a powerful, portable metrology solution for demanding industrial environments. Designed for fast setup and free movement around objects, it allows users to perform accurate probing across a wide working volume without the constraints of fixed CMM systems.
Large-Volume Measurement Without Limits
TrackProbe supports measurement ranges from small components up to large assemblies and structures. Its wide measurement volume enables users to inspect large parts, tooling, dies, automotive bodies, aerospace components, heavy machinery, and fabricated structures - all without repositioning or complex setups.
High-Accuracy Probing for Complex Geometry
With a volumetric accuracy capable of meeting stringent industrial tolerances, TrackProbe ensures precise feature measurement, GD&T verification, and reliable point capture. A long-reach probe allows access to deep holes, hidden features, internal cavities and hard-to-reach points, making it ideal for tooling, castings, pipework, and assemblies.
Portable, Lightweight and Field-Ready
The system is easy to transport, quick to deploy and built for real-world use. It operates smoothly on the shop floor, in production areas, or on-site in demanding environments. Its lightweight ergonomic probe reduces operator fatigue and enables continuous measurement with enhanced freedom of movement.
Flexible Wired or Wireless Operation
TrackProbe can be used in both wired and wireless modes. Wireless operation offers unrestricted mobility, while wired operation supports environments where maximum data stability or documentation review is required. This flexibility allows the system to adapt to any workflow or production environment.
defined Data Integration for Inspection and Reverse Engineering
TrackProbe unifies probing results and optional scan data into a single coordinate system, making it an excellent tool for inspection, part-to-CAD comparison, alignment verification, reverse engineering and production line spot-checking. It supports rapid feedback loops that help reduce rework, shorten lead times and improve overall product quality.
Built for Manufacturing, Engineering and R&D
Whether used for automotive fixtures, aerospace structures, fabricated assemblies, molds and tooling, heavy equipment or R&D projects, TrackProbe delivers the precision and versatility required for accurate, repeatable 3D measurement.
