Material route for application and process review.

VeroUltra™Clear is a specified PolyJet photopolymer engineered to simulate the appearance and function of acrylic (PMMA). This material provides specified optical clarity, achieving up to 86% light transmission with a low yellow index, making it ideal for applications where visual realism is paramount. Its primary differentiator is the ability to produce highly transparent, dimensionally accurate parts with smooth surfaces straight from the printer, significantly reducing the need for extensive post-processing.
Beyond its glass-like appearance, VeroUltra™Clear offers a reliable balance of mechanical properties, including functional strength, stiffness, and impact resistance. This combination ensures that parts are not only visually accurate for concept validation but also durable enough for functional testing. It is perfectly suited for visualizing internal components, modeling light guides, or analyzing fluid dynamics in clear housings.
VeroUltra™Clear is compatible with Stratasys PolyJet 3D printers and can achieve layer thicknesses as fine as 14 microns for intricate designs. It pairs with both water-jet removable support (SUP705) and soluble support (SUP706B), enabling the creation of complex geometries, internal cavities, and delicate features without compromising design integrity.
This material is invaluable throughout the product development lifecycle. In the early stages, it allows for the rapid creation of high-fidelity concept models that accurately represent the aesthetics of a final transparent product. For later-stage development, its mechanical properties enable the production of functional prototypes for fit, form, and light-duty application testing, accelerating design validation and time to market.
